Gleaming Nickel

As research on early Silsby Steam Fire Engines progressed we discovered that nearly all metal parts were Nickel plated. Once re-plating was complete and all parts were finally back together the sight was breath taking. More than two thousand individual parts reqauired plating to complete the project.
