Hanover, PA was
the original and is the present home of this 1882 4th. size Silsby
engine #688. The engine, belonging to Eagle Fire Co. No. 2 is
a beautifully preserved example of a late model Silsby fire engine.
Silsby 4th size engines were rated at, and could easily deliver
500 gallons of water per minute.
