This unidentified Button engine was sold at auction at Steam Town National Park in Scranton PA c. 1987. The selling price was less than $15,000. It was sold to a private owner. At the moment the present location of the engine and name of the owner are not known. Though it had been in a building collapse in VT prior to moving with the rest of the Steamtown Collection to Scranton, damage was to the top of the crown, and the engine appeared to be in fair to good condition.

Page under construction. If you have photos of surviving Button engines please e-mail photos and information to us. Thank You
