This Clapp
& Jones Engines, number not known, was sold at auction at
Steam Town National Park in Scranton PA c. 1987. The selling price
was around $30,000. It was sold to a private owner. At the moment
the present location of the engine and name of the owner are not
known. Though it had been in a building collapse in VT prior to
moving with the rest of the Steamtown Collection to Scranton,
damage was minimal and the engine appeared to be in good condition.
