Honesdale Fire Museum hosts a growing collection of fire equipment and apparatus. Apparatus currently consists of two Silsby Steamers, a 1936 Seagrave pumper and three hose carts. At this time only one steamer and one hose cart are on display while the others undergo resotration. Among the other items are fire bells, old extinguishers, nozzles, breathing apparatus, helmets, belts, medals, uniforms and art prints.
We are constantly looking for other items to add to the collection that will give meaning to the history and story of fire protection we are representing to the public.
