In 1994 The steamer
was one of two pieces of horse drawn equipment to be used as feature
displays at the World Pairs Driving Championships in Gladstone,
NJ. This was the first time that this event has been held in the
USA, and it was attended by wealthy horsemen from around the world.
The other featured carriage belongs to the Queen of England and
was attended by "The Queen's Roughrider" who is pictured
in the seat on the steamer in one of the photos.
