This
feed water pump located on the right side of the engine was an
accessory not found on all engines. It is a duplicate of the main
steam engine and pump all in miniature and in one housing which
was used to provide boiler feed water when the main pump was not
in operation. Made entirely of iron and steel this small pump
weighs in excess of one hundred pounds.
